My name is Scott Olds, and i am a photographer based in the Nevis Valley, Central Otago Region, New Zealand. My work is primarily focused on the intersection of grand landscapes and quiet, documentary storytelling. Heavily reliant on the analog process my images are primarily shot on 35mm & 120 medium format film.

The intentionality of shooting on film slows down the entirety of the process, allowing for a more deliberate connection with my environment. Whether capturing the rugged high country or more casual slices of life, the goal is always to create a tactile, timeless record of my experiences.

My primary pieces of kit are my Pentax 67, Fuji GSW690III, Canon EOS 630 and various 35mm point & shoot cameras. Everything is self developed and scanned in-house to maintain total control of my process from start to finish
